42gami vol.5 Fiddle

I heard this one a long time ago but I forgot to write the review...

This time we met Fiddle [Tomoaki Maeno] a veteran shinigami who is kind of clumsy and is a good friend of the gatekeeper [Koyasu Takehito]. Since he has failed ALL the missions he has been given since the shinsengumi were still walking on earth  some hundreds of years ago, the gatekeeper decides to give him a new mission, that's killing you.

Seems like it was the first time Fiddle went down to earth on the present time, so he doesn't know many of the things that are there. He gets to work on the same place as you, but he didn't know what was, and how to use a computer, so with his power, the gatekeeper took you to another "dimension" in order for you to teach Fiddle how to use the computer. Afterwards he says it's time for you to wake up, but you have no idea of how to do that, so he sugest you to kiss him, like on fairy tales, you kiss him and then you "wake up".

Well, let's just go to the important part XD. Seems like you used to be a runner, or something like that, but for a reason you stoped doing it. You invited Fiddle to your house once and stuff happened and afterwards the day he was finally going to kikll you you declare and he can't say anything, you run to another direction and seems like you got hit by a car, and you were on a comatosed state so he had to go to the otherworld to save you and there he has to fight with the gatekeeper, he wins and saves you, but he can't go back to his real world and so he loses the gatekeeper's friendship.

Thoughts

Uhmmmm... I didn't really liked this volume as much as the others, but I guess it's okay. I find the gatekeeper rather funny, and I think he is the one who kind of saves the story at certain points. I give this CD a 2/5.

42gami 4 Musette & Luca ~Three of a kind~

Welp, here I am, taking the day so... =3=

The CD starts as always with the Gatekeeper/owaru no kuni no monban (Koyasu Takehito) and his monologue, explaining what are the powers of god, why does he need them and all of that stuff. Then Luca (Toyonaga Toshiyuki) & Musette (Suzumura Ken'ichi) are checking the victims they should kill , and Musette finds one (the protagonist's actually) that had an atraction park on it, so he wanted to go check it out. Then Luca finds him and tells him he shouldn't do that. Then he tells Musette that you go to the park to remeber your little brother who died just a while ago. So Musette takes advantage of this so he calls you out and  invites you to be their big sister for a day, since their sister died too and they usually went there to remember her.

After a while Musette tells Luca he would not return because he was interested on you. He wents to your house and tells you all was an act, but the truth is that he is a shinigami, you obviusly freak out a little. Then he asks you to play poker with him, if he wins you die, if you win he will give you a little brother. While you two are playing Luca is trying to hide the truth that Musette is on the earth and tries to fool the gatekeeper, who notices and sends him to take Musette back. When he reaches Musette tells him he lost the game, so he would leave him with you.

You spend a little bit of time with Luca and you get along well. ThenMusette comes back to kill you, but Luca protects you, then you flee from there with Luca (wait, this is 42gami, not tobosha!) Musette finds you, he attacks again, then you run away while Luca tries to stop Musette, who "accidentaly" dropped his gun.

Musette finds yuo and you two end up together on a elevator. No more exits, nothing you can do, and when he was about to shoot...His gun wasn't there! So you two start talking, and he explains you why does he want to kill you so bad. It seems taht Luca is not a Shinigami, but what Musette used to be when he was a human. But his powers where getting weak, so he would vanish soon, that's why he needs your god power (or whatever it is) to give more life to Luca. So you decide to give your life for his sake.

Then you have a final day with them, Luca is tired so he waits for you both while you got to some atractions on the atraction park. Then the gatekeeper tells the truth to Luca, who didn't know he was just a soul, but Luca never tells Musette he knows about it. On the night you sleep together, and Musette tells you he would kill you while you sleep, so htat you feel nothing, but he falls asleep. When you two wake up  you can't find Luca anywhere, so the gatekeeper appears and tells Musette to shoot you, but when he does Luca appears and saves you. He then tells Musette he is being fooled by the gatekeeper, who only wants the power for his own sake, and Luca hands you a gun, you don't understand what to do eith it, since humans can't shoot their guns, but he tells you that Celesta (!) told him that persons with your power could shoot it, so you shoot and the gatekeeper flees.

The extra scenes are about your life with both as your little brothers.

Conclusions

I seriously thought that Luca was going to die, I was almost crying... I liked the CD, although I was expecting for you to choose who would you end with at the end, but this wasn't a bad ending or anything like that. I give this a 4/5, it was good, but I don't know, I fell like they could have done better.
